Imagine walking on the beach with sand between your toes, holding your forever person’s hand after promising forever to one another at sunset. This was Alyssa and Nick’s reality. It was an absolute dream to witness. As a Big Island elopement photographer I often find myself marveling at the beauty of Hawai’i and all the adventure that is within those islands. Beachy + Intimate Ceremony
Arguably the biggest selling point of having a dreamy Big Island elopement, having your ceremony on the beach. Alyssa and Nick’s ceremony was so special, it was on the beach, at sunset and intimate. We were able to find a quiet spot for them to exchange vows and their two stories became one. It was a beautiful day. Just being in the tropical and warm environment makes for happy people, but being on the beach with a couple in love – that’s a whole other level of happy.
If you’re considering a Big Island elopement, consider this your sign – do it!
A Dreamy Big Island Elopement Celebration
After a romantic sunset ceremony, we continued to explore the beach for some bridal portraits! Bridal portraits during that warm sunny glow are just pure magic. Alyssa and Nick had such a great time just being in Hawai’i and celebrating their recent union. They even went into the ocean for some romantic photos. It was epic!
Another great part of a dreamy Big Island elopement? You can honeymoon in Hawai’i right after you say, “I do!” You’re already in paradise, why not stay for a few days and make a trip out of it! It’s a great way to stay in the ‘newly married bubble’ and just enjoy being together before entering the real world again.
