Wedding Ideas for Spring

With proposals in full swing, it’s time we start talking about the upcoming wedding season! Many couples are getting engaged and beginning the wedding planning process this time of year. Spring weddings are always unique, with flowers starting to bloom and the weather warming up. As a Nashville elopement photographer, I’ve begun gathering my list of top wedding ideas for spring. Spring offers incredible opportunities to plan the wedding of a lifetime, from pastel floral arrangements to timeless watercolor wedding invitations. Throughout the blog, we’ll explore a few ideas to help you plan your enchanting spring ceremony.

Colorful Floral Arrangements

One of my favorite wedding ideas for spring is implementing more color throughout the event. Couples are beginning to embrace the whimsical garden party vibes and having fun with their florals. Whether you’re leaning towards pastel floral arrangements or using wildflowers, colorful floral arrangements are a great addition to your spring wedding. Add greenery and soft pastels to your arrangements for variety and garden flair. Not only will the variety of colors be beautiful, but it is also a great way to welcome the natural colors of spring. Brunch Wedding – Wedding Ideas for Spring

Spring is the perfect time of year for a brunch wedding! Invite guests to attend your late-morning wedding ceremony and a brunch reception. Throughout the event, you can serve unique breakfast cocktails and your favorite brunch dishes for a memorable wedding reception. Brunch on a spring morning is the perfect way to celebrate being outdoors without heavy jackets and coats and welcome the beautiful spring scenery!

Watercolor Wedding Invitations

A watercolor wedding invitation is always a classic and incredibly timeless. Throughout planning and designing these invitations, you can incorporate pops of color that guests can expect to see in your decor on your wedding day. Watercolor is a great way to keep wedding invitations light and elegant while adding your wedding color palette to the invitation. Another way to incorporate those elements into the wedding decor is to have watercolor table numbers or seating charts to bring the whole event together.

Embroidered Veil – Wedding Ideas for Spring

While shopping for your wedding attire, perhaps you’re looking for a twist on a classic or something different for your big day. What about an embroidered veil? I love wedding looks with a touch of personality and unique flair. An embroidered veil would be a fun addition to your wedding look and a great way to tie in the spring scenery. Consider adding an embroidered pocket square for your partner!

Flowers on Wedding Cake

Lastly, on my list of wedding ideas for spring are flowers on a wedding cake. Often, wedding cakes have flowers have a few flowers on top, but adding flowers throughout or even with frosting on the cake is a fun spring wedding trend. If you’re planning a garden-themed wedding, adding florals to your wedding cake can be the whimsical touch you need. Check out Hannah and Zachary’s garden wedding for inspiration!

Whether you’re recently engaged or simply wedding planning and looking for wedding ideas for spring, I hope this got the wheels turning!
