Before we can talk about their epic Nashville airplane hangar wedding, we have to talk about how I first met Betsy and Neyland.
The first time I met Neyland, he was about to propose! We went to the location the day before and planned everything out. It was a no frills, just love sort of proposal. Betsy was shocked, happy, and could not believe Neyland let her leave the house without makeup on 😂.
A few months later, Betsy was elbow deep in wedding planning. She reached out to me and I was immediately so excited! She was planning for a year after the proposal and the venue was her brothers airplane hangar outside Nashville. They brought their dog, Wally to the engagement session and my husband and I took them to our favorite dog friendly brewery, Tailgate afterward.
When a personal tragedy occurred less than two weeks before their wedding, I was in a bind. I was not about to leave them without a photographer with 12 days to go. But, I needed to be back in Minnesota to be with family and friends. That was where my awesome associate and second shooter came in!
Ashlyn and Annabelle took everything I had done (the family photo list, the photography timeline, etc.) and ran with it to create beautiful images for this perfect day! Editing these was a dream. Wally was the perfect gentleman and planes flew overhead during their ceremony. The party did not end until Betsy and Neyland left and, by left, I mean they flew off in to the night after a magical sparkler exit. This truly epic wedding was one for the books!
