Kristin & Dakota | Wedding | Nashville Wedding Photographer

The Beginning:

The dream of every Nashville Wedding Photographer is when their couple comes to them and says they have found the perfect venue! And that is exactly what happened when I met with Kristin and she told me all about The Wedding Woods!

Kristin & Dakota were referred to me by a past client and as soon as I met Kristin (at a coffee shop in Murfreesboro, who ever hears of meeting your vendors in person anymore?) I knew she and I were a great fit for each other! We laughed and time ended up flying away from us. I think we sat there for over an hour talking about things other than wedding planning.

It wasn’t long before Kristin told me that she had talked to Dakota and they wanted to book me! We immediately got to planning their engagement session. It ended up being at Centennial Park and me, my husband, Kristin, and Dakota all went out for tacos at the L&L Market after!

The Wedding:

Before we all knew it, it was time for their wedding! And when I tell you that being the photographer for this Nashville wedding was a dream! Kristin & Dakota had left a lot of their trust in me to help them plan their timeline and made sure photography was a priority for their day (as well as having the best day ever, obviously).

When it came to the ceremony, Dakota did not disappoint, he and his groomsmen walked down the aisle to a rendition of “I’m Too Sexy” and he ended it with a fist pump (because duh)

The reception was no exception at this Nashville Wedding, the bridesmaid’s Iced the groomsmen as soon as they walked in. The speeches were filled with love (and of course a toast to the bartenders).

They ended the night with a sparkler exit (in which I had a ton of fun yelling at the drunk guests in an effort to ensure they didn’t light themselves on fire). One thing is for sure, being a Nashville Wedding Photographer doesn’t always feel like a job when you have couples like Kristin & Dakota!
