As a Nashville elopement photographer in the wedding industry, I’ve loved seeing more couples choose to elope. It’s for the adventurers at heart, the couples looking to focus on their love, and a unique way to start your lives together. However, choosing to elope still involves a lot of planning. You are looking for a dress, location, photographer, videographer, figuring out marriage laws. It’s a lot. Having been in the industry for a few years, I’m happy to provide advice and help plan your Nashville elopement!
6 Months Out
Once you’ve decided to elope in Nashville TN, and are starting the planning process, there are a few vendors you’ll want to book right away. From the moment you decide to elope, the first thing I recommend is booking your photographer. Photographers are likely booked 6-12 months prior to the wedding date. However, Nashville elopement photographers like myself it’s a different story. I work with couples that like you, are planning things quickly so we work together to book your elopement right away. After booking your elopement photographer, look into an officiant. Whether you have a friend that will marry you, or looking for someone local, start that process sooner than later. Next, some of the more fun things, find your elopement dress, and location.
