Madi & Tyler | Wedding | Minnesota Wedding Photographer

When you ask any Minnesota Wedding Photographer what a dream wedding to photograph would be. They would say something like Madi & Tyler’s wedding.

The Details at The Jerome in Delano, Minnesota

First things first! Madi, her attendants, and her bridesmaids opted to get ready at the venue and it paid off! The natural light and beautiful brick of the venue really made all of her details, dress and getting photos pop!

Getting Ready

The photos of you and getting ready with your wedding party are some of the easiest to overlook. Yet, always end up being some of my favorite images from the day. The best part about them (or at least the way I do them) is that they take five minutes and pretty much entirely staged. I mean, who really puts earrings on in front of a window?

The First Look

If you’re looking for advice on whether or not to do a first look when planning out your wedding photos, any wedding photographer is going to tell you to do the first look. As a Minnesota wedding photographer I get asked all the time what the pros and cons are of doing a first look and there are so many that I’ll actually be writing a blog post about it soon! Stay tuned!

Madi & Tyler chose to do a first look outside of the church right before the ceremony. First they read letters to each other and then turned around and you could feel the raw emotion and love as they saw each other for the first time that day.

Wedding Party Photos at The Jerome

After the ceremony, Madi, Tyler, their whole wedding party and their significant others all hopped on a party bus and rode over to the Jerome in Delano, Minnesota for some wedding party photos. When I tell you we knocked these wedding party photos out in twenty minutes, I mean it. With wedding photography it can be hard to make sure to work out the timeline so you’re getting all the photos in. But, when you have a group as fun as this, it’s easy!

Minnesota Wedding Reception at The Jerome

The Jerome in Delano, MN is easily one of my favorite spots for wedding photography in Minnesota. The classic brick backdrops, gorgeous wood accents, and black highlights are perfect for any wedding and reception! Madi & Tyler were moving to Wisconsin just a couple days after their wedding but that didn’t stop them from having the ultimate party, complete with an outfit change towards the end of the night!

Wedding Portraits at The Jerome

I saved the best for last! We headed out around town in Delano to get Madi & Tyler’s gorgeous golden hour bride and groom portraits. From commandeering a golf cart from a local to stopping traffic, there’s nothing about this time that wasn’t epic.
