From getting in the water to doing a separate bridal session in a different dress, Alyssa & Nick did it all for their Big Island beach elopement.
All of these images are so epic it’s honestly hard to pick out the perfect ones. But I’ll for sure try.
I’ve spent a lot of time on the Big Island of Hawai’i. I’ll tell you all my favorite spots for eating, drinking, hiking, beaching, all of the above.

Planning your elopement shouldn’t be stressful on the Big Island. Hawai’i is one of the most beautiful places to get married. Plus, with 365 days of beautiful weather you really can’t go wrong. Of the islands I’ve been to, the Big Island is my favorite. It feels like you’re visiting a small town where everyone is friendly. Anything you’re trying to get to is pretty easy to find. There is tons of hiking and restaurants to satisfy any couple!

Even if your plan is to just do a quick session on your honeymoon, it’s worth it. Alyssa chose to do her bridal portraits on a separate day from her elopement. She even picked a different outfit. With how. this dress pops against the black rocks, I think she picked the perfect dress. Plus, she got epic photos of her in her wedding attire.
