Tropical Cancun Wedding | Kate + Mike

Kate and Mike’s tropical Cancun wedding is everything you could’ve dreamed of! This beautiful and relaxing beach wedding was indeed what dreams are made of. Our couple was intentional, with personalized touches added throughout their wedding, making their relationship even more special. The location can often overshadow a destination wedding, but Kate and Mike’s wedding wasn’t. The destination only added to the romantic nature of their big day, truly enhancing the adventurous nature of their relationship.

A Tropical Getaway

One of the many things I love about these two is their love of travel. They have always traveled together and made a point to go on two trips a year, one to relax and one to explore. As a destination elopement photographer, I felt like I’d found my people! Given their love for exploring and traveling, it only made sense for them to book a destination wedding. Considering this would be one of the biggest days of their lives, they opted for somewhere relaxing and beautiful. Enter Moon Palace Resorts in Cancun, Mexico. The perfect combination of tropical beach and luxury allowed our couple to enjoy their destination wedding together.

Cancun Wedding Ceremony

Throughout their wedding day, Kate and Mike ensured they prioritized their relationship. While they didn’t partake in a first look, they exchanged letters, which was so sweet. Mike made his wedding ring from wood, which was another unique touch. Our couple then met one another on the white beaches of Cancun to promise one another their forevers. After an intimate and emotional ceremony, Kate and Mike’s guests joined them in celebrating at their evening reception. It was an absolute blast, and we got rained out about halfway through. That didn’t stop our duo from dancing in the rain and inviting guests inside for drinks.

Kate and Mike are genuinely some of the sweetest souls. It was an absolute honor to be a part of their big day and now to call them some of my good friends. Kate is a big reader like me, and we continue to chat about all things books!
